Erin R. Spencer, PharmD received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2022. Throughout pharmacy school Erin was employed part-time as a community pharmacy intern, providing direct patient care services.
She was first exposed to continuing medical education in pharmacy school, where her passions for high-quality educational materials, medical and scientific accuracy, and written communication were supported. Since joining CEC in May 2022, Dr. Spencer has developed educational materials in a variety of therapeutic areas, contributed to grant writing and client communications, and traveled onsite for management of live educational symposia and chapter meetings. Her subjects of experience or particular interest include anemia, intravenous iron, obesity, CEC’s neurology residents scholar program (NRSP), rare diseases (e.g. transthyretin amyloidosis), and psychiatry.
