Dr. Jarrar is currently a Child Neurologist/Epileptologist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Her practice focuses on epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, and intraoperative monitoring. Dr. Jarrar obtained her MD from the University of Jordan. She then joined a Pediatric residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She completed a Child Neurology residency and EEG/Epilepsy fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where she received the Henry Woltman Award for Excellence in Clinical Neurology. She also completed an EMG fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Jarrar is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Neurology with special competence in Child Neurology, Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Jarrar received the Outstanding Junior Member award given by the Child Neurology Society. She was the President of the Minnesota Society of Neurologic Sciences for the year 2007.
